I see you staring Like I’m a little tasty treat And you want to make me feel your heat Hard like beef sweats so hot Your eyes, I think they’ve got me melting I know when I’m feeling sexy The place where I want to be Oh baby, let’s go and drink drank Eat the meat Let’s go and swallow all our pain Let’s go get drunk at Arby’s Frick yeah They say we’re strung out Like overdone curly fries Because we’re raging every single night Down at Arby’s, eat fresh Drink gin, until you’re not dead inside I know when I’m feeling lonely The place where I want to be Oh baby, let’s go and drink drank Eat the meat Let’s go and swallow all our pain Let’s go get drunk at Arby’s Frick yeah

about

Drinking Gin at Arby's is Nick Campbell Destroys' ode to Nihilist Arby's, the only Twitter account he follows. It is his ultra funky, Bukowski-esque tableaux of what he imagines happens in the Arby's parking lot. Two of his favorite people in the world, Nigel Hall and Swatkins, are featured on the song and have unbelievably next level performances. If there's any song on Nick Campbell Destroys' album that's most emblematic of his general aesthetic, it's definitely this one. It's got a lot of chords, a sick groove, Monk-esque counterpoint and lyrics that would make Albert Camus proud.
